Today's guided sightseeing features the Cathedral, the merchants' houses, Place Gutenberg, and the picturesque quarter of "La Petite France". Back into Germany and via the university town of Freiburg on the River Dreisam at the gates of the Black Forest. We enjoy a scenic drive past half-timbered houses, large farms, fields of cherry trees and conifer-covered hills and mountains to Lake Titisee. Then we follow the Rhine to Germany's largest lake, Lake Constance. We drive along the pretty lake to Lindau - the most important town on its Bavarian shores - located on an island in the lake linked to the mainland by a bridge.
